Cantor Rudolph talked on 21 December to the Trialogforum (Jews, Christians, Muslims) discussing together about Faith and Identity.

Rudolph’s subject was God’s Promise to Abraham and Israel's Experience of Faith. Within his subject, Rudolph examined stations in Israel’s experience of Salvation.

Prof. Heinrich Beck had given a talk to the Trialogforum on 16 November on the subject Human Yearning for Transzedenz from a philosophical Perspective.

Rudolf remembered an earlier occasion, when Dr. Abd el-Haim Rahab of the University Bamberg, representing Muslims, had observed:

“neither Christianity nor Islam can be adequately understood without Judaism as the original faith. Whoever wishes to be a true Christian or Muslim cannot avoid an examination of the traditions of Judadism sympathetically and with a willingness to learn”.
