Family Occasions of the President

To celebrate the wedding of his daughter in Cologne, Mr. Olmer gave a great Kiddush on Sabbath 9 August. On the same day he celebrated the jubilee of his Bar Mitzvah. The Choir offered an extensive programme for the occasion, which was much appreciated by the participants.

 

Other events in the Community

On 17 December, Mr. Niels Hansen, former German Ambassador in Israel, talked at the Community house at the invitation of the German-Israel Society, Franconian section, on the subject “Bilateral Relations between Germany and Israel - Konrad Adenauer and David Ben Gurion.”
