Activities of the Chasan Martin Rudolph
Apart from holding all the services and teaching Hebrew and Jewish religion to young and old alike, Mr. Rudolph undertakes a wide range of activities. His work within the community and without is invaluable. As an example of his work outside, he gave a seminar on 24 May at the Department of Protestant Theology at Bamberg University on Jewish Eschatology, as reflected in the prayers of the dying. He also attended and recited prayers at the opening of the restored Synagogue in Kronach (see under the Around Bamberg columns)
On 2 July, Chasan Rudolph took over the presidency of the local section of the World Congress of Religions. One of the early events he was planning was a visit to the Jewish Museum in Berlin.
